What are the average fees & charges for rental units?
Along with basic rental fees the buildings in Victoria also charge a “Move Fee” which is a one time fee that covers the move in and move out phase of renting. It covers any building services such as elevator padding and elevator reservation and any other service needed to get renters into their units in a timely way.
What are the move-in rules?
Normally, for unfurnished properties the buildings like a 5-7 day notice of the move and a day and time selected to reserve the elevator (where applicable). Furnished units will provide at least 3 days notice.
How much is the damage deposit?
One half-months rent is normally required with an additional deposit for pets. We aslo use a damage waiver (insurance) on select properties for the damage deposit requirement.
What is a Form K?
The Form K is the legal document required by law to be filled out for all Strata properties for any new residency either owner or renter. It registers the party and their vehicle to the building granting them all the rights of residency.
