Renewing Wood Furniture
Scratches on wooden furniture are inevitable. Here is a cheap and easy method you can repeat as many times as you like since it’s actually good for the wood!
3/4 cup olive or vegetable oil and 1/4 cup white or apple cider vinegar.
First wash the surface with mild soap and water and let dry.
Mix the ingredients together and using a clean cloth, dip it into the mixture and rub it over your wooden furniture. This solution will get rid of all those little nicks and make it look new! This is great for the wood, so repeat as often as necessary.
For extremely damaged and grimy wood get some Old English wood oil. This cleans and protects while you work all at once. Use a damp cloth to clean off all the dust and grime. Then wipe it dry. Make sure it is thoroughly dry for the next step.
